Add fields to an object
Capture structured values instead of free-form notes.
How to do it
- Open Objects, select the object and add a field with a descriptive label.
- Choose the type, required setting and options when applicable.
- Save, then test entry and import for an existing and a new record.
Check your result
Required fields can affect existing workflows and public forms.
Good to know
Use a Select for a controlled vocabulary; use Long text only when structure is unnecessary.
