Business Data

Explore granular business analytics

Build filtered analyses across connected business sources and inspect their underlying records.

How to do it

  1. Open Business Data → Reports → Analytics. Select a source from CRM, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, POS, SupaGent, People or an active custom object.
  2. Choose inclusive dates and a daily, Monday-based weekly or monthly trend. Dates use the business unit timezone; finance dates and payroll months retain their recorded business date.
  3. Select up to five measures and three breakdown dimensions. Add filters for status, channel, owner, department, campaign or another dimension available on the source.
  4. Run analysis. Review totals, the prior-period comparison, trends and grouped results. Money totals are separated by currency.
  5. Use View records on a breakdown row to apply that group as filters and inspect the matching records. Results are paginated; totals are computed across all matching records, not only the visible page.
  6. Name and save the analysis configuration if you have report management permission. Export the current breakdown or records page when both report and source export permissions allow it.

Check your result

Changing the business unit, object visibility, module permissions or employee scope changes which sources and records can be analyzed.

Good to know

Read the source definition. Order totals, invoices and receipts are different views of related activity and must not be added together. Email cohort rates use unique non-test deliveries; event reports count events that occurred during the selected period.
