Delete a custom object safely

Understand dependent records before removal.

How to do it

  1. Review its records, fields, relationships and any audiences or automation that use it.
  2. Export data you must retain, then remove dependent references.
  3. Delete the object from Administration and confirm the affected UI and forms.

An installed industry blueprint has its own removal process for managed objects.

Good to know

Historical sends and audit information can impose retention or block deletion.
