Design and publish a storefront

Edit the draft and publish a separate live version.

How to do it

  1. Select the store and open Designer; reorder, duplicate, hide or edit sections and preview desktop, tablet and mobile widths.
  2. Add HTTPS imagery, choose a palette and font, and set the store title and description in Settings.
  3. Save and publish when product visibility and inventory are correct; use Unpublish to close the public route.

Check your result

Autosaved drafts do not change the live version until you publish. Trial drafts require an upgrade before publication.

Good to know

Use Edit section code in Website Designer to start with the existing section HTML and customize its HTML, CSS and JavaScript. In Store Pages, choose Edit page code to customize a page with the same three code tabs. Preview, save the draft, then publish to update the live store. Custom code runs inside an isolated frame and cannot directly alter checkout, account data, or inventory. Custom domains require separate DNS verification and are not yet available.
