Filter a related record picker

Show lookup choices that match the current record.

How to do it

  1. Open the relationship and choose Filter related records.
  2. Select a source field and the related target field that must have matching values.
  3. Save, then change the source field on a record and verify incompatible lookups clear.

Check your result

The same relationship rule is validated on API saves and imports.

Good to know

For numeric capacity, add a supported target/source formula instead of relying on a UI-only filter.
