Install a SupaChrome workspace or portal

Add the current portal to your mobile home screen with SupaChrome branding.

How to do it

  1. Open the exact BU workspace or portal URL in your browser and wait for the page to finish loading.
  2. On supported Android browsers choose Install app or Add to home screen. On iPhone or iPad use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
  3. The app uses the SupaChrome logo and a name for the portal, with the business name when available. Separate portal addresses have separate app identities.
  4. Sign in using the same portal permissions and authentication as the browser. An installed shortcut does not grant access.
  5. If an older installed app still shows a previous icon or name, allow the browser to refresh its app information or remove the old shortcut and install again from the correct portal.

Check your result

The manifest provides PNG icons at 192 and 512 pixels, a maskable icon and an Apple touch icon. The launch URL returns to the selected portal.

Good to know

Install prompts and label truncation depend on the browser and operating system. This change does not provide offline business operations; authenticated pages and API responses are not cached by the service worker.
