Configure earnings, deductions and monthly adjustments

Add named salary components and include them in monthly payslip downloads.

How to do it

  1. Open SupaPeople → Payroll with payroll administration and sensitive-record permissions.
  2. In Country pay rules, add components such as shift allowance, travel or insurance. Choose a fixed amount, a percentage of gross or base, or an allocation from the existing other-earnings portion.
  3. Review the sample salary breakdown and save the rule. Extra earnings increase gross pay; allocations keep the salary total unchanged.
  4. Create a monthly payroll draft. Under Employee adjustments, select an employee and enter any one-off earnings or deductions for that month. Approved timesheet overtime is included separately.
  5. Review every named component and the total, then approve payroll. Employees can view the same breakdown in their monthly payslip and download the PDF.

Check your result

The sum of earnings and deductions matches the saved payroll totals. Released payslips keep their original component names and amounts.

Good to know

Country rules apply recurring components. Monthly adjustments apply only to the selected draft payslip.
