Submit a one-time PF or retirement preference

Choose a permitted contribution method once and retain its policy snapshot.

How to do it

  1. HR configures a country salary rule, eligible contribution basis, rate range and any reviewed wage ceiling or fixed-amount eligibility. Add a current review reference and expiry for capped or fixed options.
  2. Set a percentage-based salary profile for the employee and link their portal identity.
  3. The employee opens Payslips → one-time contribution preference. Choose a permitted percentage, capped or approved fixed option and effective month.
  4. Review the basis, date and once-only acknowledgement, then submit and lock.
  5. The employee cannot submit a second preference. Policy-driven statutory changes do not rewrite released payslips.

Check your result

The election records the employee, actor, time, effective date, method and reviewed policy snapshot, with one election per BU employee.

Good to know

A fixed contribution is available only under the reviewed business policy. PF wages can differ from gross salary; confirm the applicable wage ceiling, membership terms and effective date before enabling capped or fixed choices.
