Place a custom object in navigation
Show a custom record type under the team heading where it belongs.
How to do it
- Open Objects & fields and create a custom object or edit an existing one.
- Choose a Navigation heading such as CRM, Marketing or Commerce and save.
- Open Navigation settings to show or hide the item as needed.
Check your result
Existing records, relationships and permissions stay with the object when its heading changes.
Good to know
Hiding a heading hides its pages from navigation but does not grant or revoke object access.
