Administration
Publish PDF articles in SupaKnowledge
Maintain separate PDF libraries for staff, employees and customers.
How to do it
- Open Business data → SupaKnowledge in the BU navigation, or /supaknowledge. Choose a permitted portal library from the picklist before browsing or uploading. The Shared staff library is available to authenticated staff; other libraries require their corresponding portal permissions.
- Portal managers can upload PDF documents up to 10 MB. Administrators can also delegate Knowledge publishing with the Knowledge permission in roles or employee portal profiles. Portal access is still required.
- Enter an article title and summary, attach the PDF and save as Draft or Published. Draft and Archived articles are visible only to authorized publishers.
- Readers open a dedicated article page with an embedded PDF reader, Open PDF and Download PDF. Search and pagination help navigate the library.
- Use Edit article to update its title, summary or publication status. Archive removes it from reader access while preserving its file. Customer articles are published by commerce administrators; customers can only read. Academy articles are published by platform administration.
Check your result
A reader can access only Published articles in their permitted portal and business. Copying a URL does not bypass sign-in or permissions.
Good to know
PDF text is not converted into editable HTML. Browser PDF support varies; Open PDF and Download PDF remain available. Uploads are validated for PDF signature and size; malware scanning is not provided.
