Measure manually published social posts

Distinguish measured link visits from network-reported post performance.

How to do it

  1. Create a social draft with a shared campaign and public HTTPS target URL. SupaChrome adds source, campaign and post identifiers and creates a reusable tracking link.
  2. Approve the post. Copy the approved text and SupaChrome tracking link, then publish on the social network using your business account.
  3. Confirm publication with the live URL from the selected network. The post is not marked Published merely because its planned time has passed.
  4. Once Published, visits through the tracking link create Website Events linked to this post and its campaign. Known crawler/preview user agents, HEAD requests and explicit prefetch requests are excluded.
  5. Record impressions, network clicks and spend from your network reports. Every update retains a dated snapshot and audit entry. These figures remain separate from measured link visits.
  6. In Analytics Builder, choose Social content performance and compare Measured link clicks with Reported clicks and impressions. Filter by platform, campaign and creation cohort; export the permitted analysis.

Check your result

One ordinary tracked-link request increases the post’s measured link visits and its campaign’s click count; a network preview does not.

Good to know

A post URL alone cannot reveal private network reach or reactions. Automatic native metrics need a network-authorized analytics API; no native analytics connection is implied. Link visits are observed requests, not guaranteed unique people or purchases.
