SupaTill
Assign POS products and print unique unit barcodes
Keep one shared Product record with a separate barcode for every stock unit.
How to do it
- In Sales channels & stock, enable Available for SupaTill POS registers on the required channel. POS-type channels are enabled by definition. Select that channel in register configuration.
- Open SupaTill → Inventory. Add product creates the actual shared Product and assigns its initial quantity to the selected channel. Add existing product allocates an existing Product record without duplication.
- Stock adjustments queue barcode preparation automatically. Open Unit barcodes and prepare missing identities for existing stock. Every physical unit has a distinct barcode linked to its Product; reserved units retain their identities.
- Available labels are selected automatically, up to 240 per A4 PDF. Adjust the selection and download or print one label per unit. There is one consolidated barcode workspace.
- Scan the unique unit code at checkout. Product-name or ID search can select an available unit automatically. Repeated scans of the same unit are blocked; completed sales mark those units Sold, and supported returns restore the original unit codes.
Check your result
A product with ten available units has ten distinct unit labels. Repeating barcode preparation does not create duplicate identities.
Good to know
Large preparation jobs can continue through the configured background worker. A missing stock unit must be reconciled; retiring a label alone does not change physical stock.
