Track quote orders

Follow an accepted quote into the order it created.

How to do it

  1. Open Quotes and find an accepted quote.
  2. Choose Convert to Order; the resulting order link appears on the quote.
  3. Open Orders to see the quote number beneath the order, or open the full order record for its Source quote relationship.

Check your result

Data Finder Orders includes Order source, Source record ID and Quote number for reporting.

Good to know

The quote and order belong to the same BU and retain their original amounts; inventory is checked again during conversion.
