Troubleshoot MCP tool discovery

Resolve an AI client that sees no tools or cannot write.

How to do it

  1. Confirm the configured MCP URL and that OAuth completed in the same BU.
  2. Check feature availability and the user’s module and object permissions.
  3. Reconnect the client after a token revocation, then list tools again.

Check your result

A tool may be available for reads but denied for writes by role.

Capture the error code and support reference without sharing access tokens.
