Design branded customer emails
Customize the layout and sender for order confirmations, invoices and other customer notices.
How to do it
- Open BU Settings → Customer email → Templates. Choose the notification, then set the subject, headline, introduction, closing note, button label, accent and layout.
- Use the listed personalization fields such as {{orderNumber}} and {{businessName}}. The email still uses original order details, verified links, payment instructions, codes or attachments where applicable.
- Select Preview email to render the draft with sample data. Save template to apply it to new messages.
- To send from your own domain, verify that exact domain in Resend and add a sender under Verified senders. Use a full-access key once for the domain check and a separate domain-restricted sending key for delivery.
- Choose Send test to me to test the specific identity. Assign the sender to an active Send Classification, then select a Transactional classification in the relevant customer template. Marketing emails keep their normal classifications and consent rules.
Check your result
In SupaTill or the BU workspace, open an issued return receipt, refund receipt or credit note and select Email document to attach its PDF. SupaChrome will not send a second copy if the provider already accepted it. Use Download PDF if the customer has no valid email address on file. Review Delivery history for accepted or failed customer notices; provider acceptance is not an inbox receipt.
Good to know
No custom route uses the platform sender. Passwords, BU user invitations, payroll, and other internal platform emails remain in their respective workflows.
