Process a partial return and inspect stock

Follow the original purchase through approval, inspection and financial adjustment.

How to do it

  1. Open Commerce → Returns, SupaTill → Returns & credits, or SupaCommerce → Returns.
  2. Search an invoice, order, customer, SKU or unit barcode. Open the purchase and verify Delivered or Picked up. For POS, first complete billing and confirm that the customer took the items. Select Return or Exchange, quantities and reason.
  3. An authorized reviewer approves when required. Record pickup instructions if needed.
  4. Receive the items, enter accepted and saleable quantities, and select original unit labels for tracked stock. Confirm inspection.

Check your result

Only saleable units return to available inventory. Damaged accepted units remain out of available stock. The accepted value uses the original item discount and tax; shipping is retained.

Good to know

The original invoice stays unchanged. External-channel inventory remains owned by its source; reconcile restocking in that system. Posted financial records are retained when related CRM records are removed.
